Milestones Behavioral Services
The $5 Million Dollar project consisted of the 39,000 SF interior renovation of an existing building in Orange Connecticut. Selective demolition of the interior and exterior of the building was followed by installation of new architectural finish systems including metal stud/gypsum board walls, hung acoustical panel ceilings, resilient sheet and tile floors, resilient athletic floors, tile carpets, and interior and exterior paint. New mechanical, electrical and lighting systems as well as plumbing, electronic safety and security, fire alarm and suppression systems were also installed.
A new electric traction elevator and associated equipment was added, as well as new toilet compartments, and bathroom accessories. All new interior and exterior doors and hardware were installed, as well as unit skylights, and rooftop equipment screens.
In addition, all new unit kitchens, residential appliances, and residential casework were part of the project. Extensive site work including installation of new bituminous concrete pavement, concrete sidewalks, chain link and decorative fences and gates, plantings and landscaping completed the renovation. The renovation will allow for future growth for Milestones in the coming years.
