Mabelle B. Avery Middle School

Enfield Builders was awarded the contract for the complete renovation of an existing Middle School in Somers Connecticut. The renovation portion of the project involved extensive asbestos abatement, selective demolition, and new MEP systems. The project involved work adjacent to occupied spaces, and as a result, involved intricate scheduling with seven phases over a period of 30 months . The addition of classrooms and office spaces was steel framed with extensive masonry work.
